Design(ers) for Good Happy Hour

In a world where it seems like everyone is out for themselves, we invite you to make a difference and do something truly awesome within our community. Join us on December 7th for an evening dedicated to helping the homeless in our community, where you'll hear from Artist / Activist / Professor Willie Baronet, create inspirational messages, and stuff care packages to hand out to those most in need in our community.

After opening Group Baronet design agency in Dallas, Willie founded WE ARE ALL HOMELESS to confront the awkwardness felt when he'd pull up to an intersection and encounter a person holding a sign. He asked the question, “Is home a physical place, a building, a structure, a house? Or is it a state of being, a sense of safety, of being provided for, of identity?” Willie has now completed dozens of homeless sign art installations across the nation and overseas, and is the co-director and producer of the award-winning documentary “Signs of Humanity.” Suffice it to say, this is an evening you absolutely do not want to miss.

You'll have plenty of time to mingle, enjoy complimentary bites and beverages, fill care bags for those in need, and fill up on some good karma, too. This holiday season, join us in giving to those who have less than us and enjoy the company of fellow local creatives while doing it. We live in a time when the world could use a little more positivity. Be a part of the change that we all wish we could see more of.

100% of the proceeds from your $5 event ticket will be used to purchase supplies for the homeless; an additional donation option is also available for those interested in making a larger contribution to this important cause.
