Ruby Herrera is a first-generation Mexican-American, and the owner / founder of her own creative company focused on creating smart and conceptual designs for both small businesses and corporations. She is the illustrator of Libritos for the Heart, a bilingual biblical book series designed to educating children who are developing their language skills. Ruby joined the AIGA DFW team in 2023 to serve as the Student Group Chair, supporting the next generation of designers as they prepare to enter the industry. Ruby also does projects for various non-profits, including the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture in Chicago and the Cesar Chavez Foundation in California.
