Join us for a free, virtual, five-week, peer-lead discussion of the new book, Extra Bold: A Feminist, Inclusive, Anti-Racists, Nonbinary Field Guide for Graphic Designers. Written collaboratively by a diverse team of authors, Extra Bold is being celebrated as an inclusive, practical, and informative career handbook for designers that we’ve all been waiting for. In partnership with CreativeMornings Dallas, our book talk is open to anyone & everyone to learn alongside us how to disrupt patterns of inequity and everything in between.
It doesn’t matter where you are in your journey to building a more sustainable and inclusive design practice - the Book Talk is open to anyone with the desire to learn more about using their power to amplify other voices and disrupt patterns of inequity. While the book adds new voices to the conversation around design, we encourage participants to share their perspectives as well. The goal is to reshape how we view and think about our world.
Be sure grab Extra Bold at the library or your local bookstore (#shoplocal) and join us Mondays, September 27th through October 25th, from 6:30 - 8:00 PM CST for some deep and engaging conversations.
