Armin Vit + Bryony Gomez-Palacio: Hecho en USA the Mexican Way

AIGA DFW is pleased to partner with AIGA Unidos to bring you the powerhouse founders of UnderConsideration. Join us for the last Hispanic Heritage Talk of 2020 with Armin Vit & Bryony Gomez-Palacio. This married duo were born and raised in Mexico and are currently stationed in Bloomington, IN where they provide content to the creative community through books, blogs, a new podcast and conferences.

They will do a deep dive at how Mexico’s DIY ingenuity, hard-working ethic, and under-appreciated energy informs their work — in particular the identities and the materials of the Brand New Conference.

Armin Vit is most recognized for his writing on the blogs that make up the UnderConsideration online network—particularly Brand New, the popular blog for opinions on corporate and brand identity work. Along with his wife and partner, Bryony Gomez-Palacio, Armin has co-authored various books for publishers and for UnderConsideration and has organized multiple design events, including the annual Brand New Conference and bi-monthly Austin Initiative for Graphic Awesomeness speaker series. Bryony Gomez-Palacio manages the behind-the-scenes of the online network comprising Brand New, FPO, Quipsologies and The Art of the Menu. They conceived and presented the Brand New Conference, the Brand New Awards, the FPO Awards, and the recently launched lecture series by The Austin Initiative for Graphic Awesomeness.

This is a virtual event that will take place in Zoom. The invite link will go out to registered attendees approximately 30 minutes prior to the start time at 6:30PM CST/7:30 PM EST.

This is an event you won't want to miss!
