AIGA is operated entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers. In addition to our board of directors, we have a devoted team of volunteers that fall under one of our several committees to keep events running smooth, engage with our community and expand our membership. Below are the missions and goals for our committees as well as the board chairs that manage each team:
Engage local chapter members with activities and opportunities for professional growth and community connection, in alignment with AIGA national initiatives. Promote the value of AIGA membership, grow member base, and meet member by engaging with existing and prospective members through community-focused events.
Facilitate the development of programs that fulfill the goals of the organization and bring people together in inclusive spaces for valuable experiences that inspire, educate, and serve the local design community.
Communicate chapter programs and activities to the design community at large in alignment with the organization’s mission and values to invite and encourage engagement.
Diversity & Inclusion
The Diversity & Inclusion Committee supports traditionally marginalized and excluded persons in design.
